Plan / Schedule Production Order

In this sub process, auto creation of Operation & Resource Job through route, approval of production order is discussed.

To create production order and to know how please refer Production order creation sub process in Production order management.

 

After completing setup and to Approve, Plan and Schedule production order please refer steps given below

• Click on -> Approval, click on -> Submit button
• Redirects to production order with status changed as “Submitted” and to approve record, click on -> Approve button 

• Redirects to production order with status changed as “Approved by Design”, click on -> Plan button 

• Redirects to production order with status changed as “In-Planning” and Execution BOM is created in Execution BOM field as shown below

 

 

• If Route field has value, then on click of Plan button, Operations are created automatically
• To view created operations, Navigate to -> Operations tab besides the Details tab.

 

 

• Clicked on -> Schedule button, Production order status changes to “Inventory Checked”
• On click of Schedule button, Resource Job are created for the related Operations and Production Order Items are created in Order Items tab.
• To display resource job, Click on -> existing operation record
• Navigate to -> Resource Jobs tab beside Details tab of production order operation 
• On click of Schedule button, system reserves the inventory against BOM line and change the Reservation status as "Reserved".
• If the partial stock is reserved, then Reservation status changed as "Partial" and Stock Shortage is created.
• If Route value is not selected, then also we can create Operation manually and to know that please refer steps given below
• On Operation tab of production order, click on -> Create button
• Redirects to create page of production order operation, Set Operation Type
• Set  Priority
• Add Processing Hours
• Add Quantity
• Select Currency (Auto set as per selection in parent record)
• Select Production Activity Type
• Set Start date and End date
• Click on -> Save or Save & Close button.
