Add/ Amend Skills & Capabilities

Skill is the ability to do something or expertise in any type of task. Skills give the idea about which type of work can done by resource. This helps management to assign particular task or project to resource as per their knowledge or skills.

Follow the below mentioned steps to add the skills and capabilities: 

  • Navigate to Project -> Resources.
  • Redirects to the list page of resources click on -> Resource record.
  • Redirects to Detail page of resource.
  • To add Skills navigate to -> Competence tab.

 

 

  • Click on -> “Create” button of skills grid.
  • Once click on create button, user will redirects to the create page of Resource Skill.

 

 

  • Add Name for skill.
  • Select related characteristics and characteristics rating.
  • Click on -> Save or Save and Close button.
  • To add the Capabilities, navigate to availability grid.
  • Click on -> “Create” button of Capabilities grid.
  • You can add the capabilities by using quick create or full form.
  • If clicked on “Quick Create”, form will get open in right side panel.

 

 

  • If clicked on “Full Form” it will redirects user to full form of create page.

 

 

  • Select Capability.
  • Set level.
  • Set Priority and click on -> Save or Save and Close button.
