Auto Select BOM and Production Route

BOM and production route selection at opportunity, quote or order level helps to derive the price for product.

BOM

• Navigate to -> Menu Category.
• Select Management menu category.
• Select Settings.
• In solution setting if “Filter BOM As Per Product” field selected as “Yes”, then in “BOM” lookup of Opportunity line only those BOM records will get visible which are of selected product else you can see all BOM, even those are not for selected product.

 

• In solution setting if “Auto BOM Selection” field selected as “Yes”, then in “BOM” lookup of Opportunity line, BOM will get auto selected while creating the record. System auto selects the BOM which comes first in ascending order.

 

Production Route

• Navigate to -> Menu Category.
• Select Management menu category.
• Select Settings.
• In solution setting if “Filter Route As Per Product” field selected as “Yes”, then in “Production Route” lookup of Opportunity line only those route records will get visible which are of selected product else you can see all routes, even those are not for selected product.

 

• In solution setting if “Auto Production Route Selection” field selected as “Yes”, then in “Production Route” lookup of Opportunity line route will get auto selected while creating the record. System auto selects the route which comes first in ascending order.
