Quote Management
Quote Management involves the management of quotes that are associated with a sale’s opportunity.
Quote Management is the process of tracking and managing customer quotes that are connected to sales opportunities. This process can include everything from creating and sending sales quotes to following up on outstanding quotes to negotiating pricing and terms.
This document provides the information about create /manage Quote manually or through system for related opportunity record, revision of quote line. It also provides steps to perform “Update Product” through which Opportunity line can be added to quote.
The quote management process can be performed by all Sales users with following activities:
- Create/ Amend Quote
- Quote Lines on Quote, Quote Lines from Opportunity Line
- Quote from Opportunity
- Quote Revision, Mark Draft Quote, Update Product
- Quote Submission & Email
